The island is located on the Ari Sud atoll, 35 minutes away by sea plane and 150 minutes away by speed boat from the Male airport.

It is one of the only hotels in the Maldives to have access for handicapped people. The clients can use the equipment of Sun Island (see Sun Island insert). Six daily trips take place from 9:30 a.m. to midnight. Optionally, the "all inclusive" package with Nouvelles Frontieres includes a 1.5-litre bottle of water per day/per room. Snacks at the coffee shop from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with tea and coffee. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) served at the main restaurant (during meal times), at the beach bar from 10:00 a.m. to 12 a.m., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 P.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the main bar between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 in the morning. After 1:00 a.m., drinks will be billed (except water). Drinks included (ask detail at our agencies), served in a glass, ordered at the main restaurant, the main bar and at the beach bar and taken on the premises. The all-inclusive package does not include : room service, mini-bar, drinks taken during excursions and other activities. Night fishing and a half-day excursion (organised at set days and times, announced on the premises, based on weather conditions) on a local island, per person are included on the entire duration of your stay. For newlyweds, a fruit basket and a bottle of wine are given by Nouvelles Frontieres.
Underwater diving :
Le coral reef is located 10 minutes away by boat. You can see sharks in the lagoon.

Built in September 1994, the Holiday Island is a small, friendly, simple hotel that offers complete peace. The hotel offers a main bar with a small terrace on the beach, open from 7:30 a.m. until the last client. The hotel does not have Water Bungalows, only Super Deluxe Beachfront, meaning Deluxe Villas on the beach. The hotel has Internet access (1 dollar for 15 minutes and 10 cents extra per minute), a fitness room (free), sauna, hammam, billiard room, tennis (for a fee; court lighted at night), football, beach volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. Numerous water sports are offered. Concerts, games (crab race, tournaments), folk music evenings and club nights are organised every night.

The hotel has only one category of rooms : Super Deluxe Beachfront. Each block is made up of one room. The rooms, simple, lined with tiles, have satellite television (18 channels), mini-bar, safe, direct telephone with international calling, adjustable air conditioning, a fan, and a tiled terrace with deckchairs.

12/20 Food and drink

Your meals will be served at the main restaurant (with a teakwood terrace facing the sea) buffet style. You can also eat at the Coffee Shop (costs extra). Room service is available 24 hours a day. 3 bars will allow you to eat, including 1 karaoke bar and one bar on the beach.

The beach is beautiful, endowed with a gorgeous sand strip. The sand has a good size, more or less coarse in some places. Each bungalow has teakwood deckchairs available on the beach.
