Completely rented by the Marmara tour operator, the Marrakech is a lively and affordable address located in the heart of the new city of Marrakech. To be avoided, however, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity.

The Marrakech is located in a fairly noisy area, between the modern city and Medina, 1640ft from the Jemaa El Fna square (10 minutes on foot). It takes 10 minutes for the transfer from the airport located 4 miles from there.

A team of 3 animators and 5 trainees will offer several activities during the day such as morning stretching, water aerobics, stretching, oriental dance, Arabic language courses ... On Saturdays, the Moroccan day takes place. A nursery operates during the school holidays. Fans of nightlife can enjoy the nightclubs adjacent to the hotel (for free): " Le Diamant Noir ", and " Le Rotana " are free for hotel's guests.

Built in 1971, the Marrakech has two buildings with 4 and 5 floors, serviced by elevators. Collectively, they accommodate 350 rooms, a Moroccan living room, two bars (the panoramic bar at the 5th floor and the snack bar by the swimming pool), several restaurants, a small shopping arcade, a hairdresser, beauty salon located in the basement and offering body or face treatments, sauna, hammam... The outdoor space consists of a garden and a small swimming pool where most of the entertainment that is normally centereed around music, takes place. The area is confined, noisy and you have to really stick your elbows out to get a deckchair... A stand selling local products (peanuts, grilled almonds, pistachios ...) is available nearby.

The 350 rooms, including 43 suites, are simple. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with satellite television broadcasting 9 channels, a telephone connected to the switchboard 24 hours a day, Internet connection. Some also have a balcony, a safe and a mini-bar (with an extra cost and upon demand). Depending on the room, the bathrooms have a bathtub or a shower. The toilets are separate. For families, communicating rooms are also proposed. On the other side of the corridor, the rooms have shared balconies. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Breakfast and dinner are served in buffet style in the main restaurant « Les Trois Fontaines ». The cuisine is composed of international and Moroccan specialities. There are different themes each evening. The hotel also has a restaurant "Galaxie" serving traditional cuisine for lunch and dinner. A Moroccan restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. During the day, it is also possible to eat simple and affordable meals at the snack bar by the swimming pool : salads, grilled foods, omelettes, pasta, sandwiches...
