Built in 1981 in a park of 13 acres (including 7 acres decorated with a lovely Andalusian garden) and newly renovated in 2000, the Meridian is made up of modern buildings whose lines recall the Moroccan tradition. The hotel's 277 rooms including 12 suites are divided into 3 different wings, in the centre of which a beautiful Andalusian garden flourishes. The beautiful swimming pool of 6996 ft˛ is surrounded by a very comfortable solarium in an immaculate landscaped setting. The hotel also has a clay tennis court that is lit in the evening, a fitness centre spreading on 820 ft, opening onto the swimming pool and Andalusian garden, a sauna and hammam. Note: the small entrance that leads to the fitness center, arranged with a small fountain with flowers and a couch with cushions, is very pretty.

All of the rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. They are bright, decorated in light colours such as yellow, with beautiful lamps and mosaics. They are individually air-conditioned and have a direct dial telephone, satellite television with 20 channels, nearly half of which are French, and 2 cinema channels, a safe and a mini bar. The bathrooms have a bath tub, except the two rooms for disabled guests, which are equipped with a shower. Only the deluxe rooms are oriented towards the swimming pool and the Atlas range. The standard rooms overlook the garden or the city with its Koutoubia. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
8/10
Le Meridien values its good restaurant service. The cuisine is varied and of good quality. The " Al Seguia", the international restaurant (300 seats) offers copious buffets of a specific theme and quality in an elegant setting inspired by the traditional marrackchi art. In the evening, the "Menzeh" restaurant offers delicious Mediterranean specialties in Andalusia decor. It is also possible to eat at the barbecue snack bar by the pool which offers fresh and grilled dishes. To cool off, guests can sit in the tearoom, "Iwan", a real gem combining the best local materials and colours, the bar or the piano bar.
