Already well-known for the quality of the underwater diving on its surrounding sites and for its festive atmosphere, Diva has become since its latest renovations a luxury hotel that remains simple and with a human dimension. Here, we are not in one of these big hotels that are so spacious and sumptuous that you can get lost. Diva is the happy medium for those who love elegance and aesthetics while remaining simple.
A part of the hotel is under construction for a year. All the facilities that we mention remain open.
Underwater diving:
The Euro Divers centre gives classes for all levels, with the PADI method. The coral reef is a few strokes away from the hotel. 42 underwater diving sites are near the hotel, well-known for their whale sharks and manta rays.

The hotel used to go under the name of 'White Sands' before it was taken over by the luxury Mauritian hotel group, Naiade, which rebranded it 'Diva'. Naiade has since changed its name to 'Lux'.

The welcome at Diva is particularly warm, the staff always smiling. The hotel is a little like a large family home where you feel at home. The reception area is very cosy, with its wicker and brown velvet sofas and delicate flowers. The atmosphere there is very pleasant, the decoration has warm tones and it is nice to go for a walk on this island that has a well maintained but not too overgrown plant life. You find a true sensation of freedom here. The bar on stilts with its library, on the edge of the lagoon, offers a lot of comfort, furnished with silky sofas and bamboo chairs. Concerts are organised regularly. The hotel has two singers. The Beach Bar, located near the Water Sports, is very nice. During the renovation period, it houses the dance floor. The hotel also has a very nice Coconut Spa in wood located facing the sea with masseuses trained in Bali. Pure happiness ! The small waiting room is a real delight, adorned with a small fountain, where you can have tea and delicious coconut drinks while you wait... The water sports base offers many activities (see our beach section). A stretch of sand allows vacationers to walk cheerfully on the beach. The hotel also offers different sports activities like tennis, badminton, volleyball...

The rooms are very nice. The Waterbungalows are very pleasant, completely in wood, with a low table and a comfortable sofa in front of a bay window overlooking the terrace, a beautiful bed, a bathroom with bathtub also all in wood. The teakwood terrace is pleasant, several strokes away from the coral reef, far from the prying eyes of the occupants of the other bungalows thanks to a carefully thought-out configuration. So you can go down to swim privately without worrying. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone with satellite, mini-bar, safe box and a direct telephone for international calling.

Completely in wood, the Vilu Mathi is located on piers facing the Waterbungalows, facing the lagoon and the sand bank. This restaurant is very pleasant, specially in the evening when the atmosphere is softened. The food is excellent and the wine is of quality (buffets and a la carte service).   During the renovation period, a barbecue restaurant is set up next to the Beach Bar. On the menu : succulent grilled food !

The beach is beautiful, rather large, furnished with deckchairs. The sand is white and fine. The water is translucent. The wind is there as needed for the sports activities but it will not disturb your sunbathing on the deckchair. You can do catamaran, windsurfing, water skiing, sea scooter, banana boat, pedalo...
