The Club Med Agadir is 80% frequented by French customers, often families and sports lovers. A place recommended for those who above all are looking for active and lively holidays, with the assurance that their children will be taken care of. Inside the club on the seafront, only gymnastic type activities are provided : you have to take the shuttle to get to various sports grounds, golf courses and to the ranch about 10 minutes away. The sports team is composed of 23 people.

Lodging tips:
The mostly desired rooms are the "400"'s. Standard, they have a beautiful view of the large circular lawn, shaded by large trees. Hurry to book one because there are only 42 available and those who know about them will not waste their time ! The "600" rooms are located furthest from the main restaurant. Note: the rooms "on the seafront" are 10% more expensive, but they actually provide no sea view as the lush vegetation hides the sea. Choose the rooms with a "sea view" (21 in total) or "garden view", which provide better visibility of the surroundings.

Built in 1966 and completely renovated in 2005, the Club Med is the oldest hotel in Agadir. It it built on a very large park of 17 acres. Therefore, sometimes you have to walk a while to get from one place to another. The essence of life in the Club focuses around the large rectangular pool, heated, supervised and protected from the winds. On the heights, the main bar and its copper counter can not accommodate all the tourists at the peak cocktail hour. In addition, the Café des Arts invites you to rest more comfortably, the tiered amphitheatre that can hold more than 250 spectators, and the main restaurant prepares the next service. Even though it is not a necessity, the spa, tiled in green and white, is old-fashioned (sauna, hammam and well-equipped fitness room are available for free). The entire complex is scheduled to be renovated in the summer of 2008. A kids paradise, the Club Med offers many carefully selected facilities, well-equipped for different age groups. The baby Welcome (4 months to 2 years) is a baby facility with food and toys (25 babies maximum). Of average size, the facility catering children aged 2-4 years is also very safe. Further, a large space divided into several parts offers activities for children aged 4-11 years, 11-14 years and 14-17 years. In the centre of an inner courtyard, a small climbing wall is provided, where you can see the rectangular pool just for children.

The hotel's 374 rooms have been renovated and many of them have been transformed into deluxe rooms; 94 are suitable for families and 107 have a terrace. In total, you can choose from 9 different categories, set up all on one floor or on different tiered levels (no elevator). They are equipped with flat screen satellite television broadcasting 10 channels, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and a safe. Superior rooms have wi-fi access. Decorated in the traditional Moroccan style, the rooms offer a pleasant atmosphere, but the standard rooms are quite small. The bathrooms also retain this charm. You will find a double basin, an Italian shower, Club Med° welcome products and a hair dryer.

The large dining room, with an area devoted to children and babies, has an indoor and outside area, on the terrace of several levels under a tent. You will be seated at communal tables of 6 to 8 seats. Guests come and go constantly. It is difficult to get some space to yourself, but this is not the objective at Club Med. The buffets are very copious and the food is carefully selected, for example pan-fried foie gras, duck ... There is a different theme each evening (over 15 days) and three separate buffets a week around the theme of chocolate, Oriental flavours and of apples and pears for breakfast. It is here where you can eat the best pastries in the resort of Agadir. The drinks included in the service, are served unlimited. In the evening, two restaurants serving à la carte expand the choice for diners : the pleasant Moroccan restaurant is open 3 days a week (same-day reservation) and the restaurant on the ranch allows you to eat a North African style barbecue, a "méchoui", twice a week (reservation a day in advance). In the afternoon, both are open after the buffet closes unti 2 p.m. for latecomers and sporty guests.

In front of the club Med, is the promenade. Only the tiles and the lights remain to be installed ! The nuisance of ongoing construction work is over ! Between the Agadir Royal and Atlas Beach hotels, the village is situated on the seafront on the length and width of the bay of Agadir and has certainly one of the best locations in the resort. The vast private beach of the hotel club is well equipped with plastic deck chairs, tables and plaited umbrellas. For water sports, you must speak to private clubs on the beach. Here as elsewhere on the bay, almost at zero sea level, the sand is fine, golden and regularly cleaned by the city authorities. On the foreshore, there are no pebbles. Note that the wind blows often in the evening.
