The Meeru is located on the Meerufenfushi island in the Malé Nord atoll, 60 min away by speed boat or 15 min away by sea plane from Malé airport.

The Meeru Island Resort has 504 rooms and two reception areas corresponding to quite different types of lodging. The hotel is a large structure with a new part. You will find a swimming pool (with a pool for kids) with a solarium, a large slightly sloped beach equipped with deckchairs and beach towels, 2 spas including a new one on piers that is very nice. An entertainment program takes place every evening: club nights, concerts, videos. The hotel also has a wellness center and Internet service.

In the new part, 120 elegant individual bungalows in teakwood have a sea view with a terrace. Among these bungalows, you will find 61 superior luxury bungalows of 817 square feet, with CD player, television and outside whirlpool bath. 29 bungalows of 40 square feet on piers are arranged along the edge of the beach. They also have an outside shower in a little private garden, with CD player and television. A private terrace gives them access to the lagoon. 30 516 square feet deluxe bungalows on piers, in the middle of the lagoon, also have a whirlpool bath and DVD player. In the old part, 95 bungalows are facing the sea. 18 standard category rooms measuring 355 square feet are located in a little ground-level building. 77 individual superior category wooden bungalows of 408 square feet can house 2 adults and 2 children. They also have a shower outside and a private terrace. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, and a direct telephone line for international calling.

In the old part, the main restaurant, the Farivalhu, enables you to dine for half-board and full-board on an international cuisine served buffet-style within a traditional architectural frame. Three other à la carte restaurants, including an Asian one and one located along the waterfront offer fish specialties. In the new part, the Maalan restaurant offers gourmet meals served buffet-style for full-board. The ambience is pleasant. There is also a snack bar and 5 bars.
