The Mercure opened on the site of the former Club Med, near the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. It overlooks the valley and the Kasbah. The airport of Ouarzazate is 10 minutes away by car.

Brand new, it opened doors in March 2005 and is located on the site of the former Club Med.

The Mercure is composed of small pavillions with Moorish architecture, scattered in a small garden. The decoration is refined but with a touch of Moroccan atmosphere. The wood and the stone are used wisely. A bar with a view of the swimming pool on one side and on the kasbah on the other side, offers many cocktails, aperitifs and fruit juices. An intimate hammam allows you to relax.

The Mercury has 68 rooms, including 1suite. All are decorated with noble materials, in Moroccan style while still retaining a touch of modernity. They offer modern comfort, air conditioning / heating, television, telephone, mini bar, and safe. The bathroom is medium-sized, but tastefully decorated. Here you will find a shower, welcome products and a hair dryer.

The restaurant is located on the lower level but still offers a view onto the Kasbah and a terrace. A special place, glazed on one stide, overlooks the swimming pool. Of an African style, the decoration remains discreet but pleasant. Breakfast is served in the-style of a buffet, and lunch and dinners are à la carte. The buffet is varied and of good quality. For breakfast, fresh orange juice, mint tea and Moroccan crepes are proposed.
