The Movenpick Karon Beach of Phuket is open since 20th July 2007. It is the former Crown Plaza. The establishment is composed of big living spaces where guests are not crammed. It has the biggest children club on Phuket island: families will be seduced!

The Movenpick is situated just a few steps from Karon beach and around 15 minutes from Patong beach. Consider 50 minutes by car to go to the airport.

The hotel does not have a private beach. In fact, the Thai beaches are all open to the public. However, you can rent a beach chair on Karon beach. The hotel offers to its guests a tuk-tuk service or free buggies to get there.

The lobby of the hotel is very impressive because of its excessive size. The space is round-shaped and very elegantly decorated. Balinese-style sofas as well as big jars are installed at the entrance. In the middle of the place, open on a luxuriant garden, there is a big floral decoration overhang by a wicker chandelier. On the left, the reception is marked by a large marble desk, also decorated with fresh flowers.
The establishment offers three swimming pools all integrated in a luxuriant vegetation. They perfectly blend with the decoration. Balinese massage rooms are installed next to the main swimming pool. A swimming pool is dedicated to children. In addition, the hotel disposes of the biggest children club on Phuket island. It is very well equipped and all kind of activites are offered to children so that they can spend unforgettable holidays!
The Movenpick has a beautiful spa situated in the garden. There are seven treatment rooms equipped with a basin and an external shower.

The Movenpick has 352 rooms, 269 of which are superior and 183 are suites and villas. It has also 30 two-room flats, with kitchen and balcony, reserved to rental. The room is of a very reasonable size and elegantly decorated. The different tones of fair green marvellously blend with the dark wood furniture. A beautiful fresh orchid is placed on the glass coffee table of the sitting area. The balcony is very large and also has a bench and a wooden table. Concerning the equipment, you find: a free safe, TV, air conditioning, direct international line and room service. However, there is no minibar but a tea and coffee kit. The bathroom is open on the room. It is very elegant and has a hairdryer, bathrobes and welcome products.

Three restaurants are available at the Movenpick: the Restaurant Pacifica offers the choice of having your meal indoor or outdoor. It works as a buffet for breakfast and offers a Thai and international a la carte cuisine for lunch and dinner. The Wildfire Restaurant also serves western and Asian specialities. The place offers a beautiful view of the sunset. It especially offers grilled food, but also pizza and seafood. The Sandbar is specialised in pizza, but this time cooked over a wood fire. To quench your thirst, three bars are available: the pool's bar (which offers also plates of fresh fruits), the Kinnaree (composed of large sofas) as well as the Cafe studio, a good place for the gourmands (a selection of cakes, sugary desserts...).
