Here, it is an hour ahead of Malé. The hotel has a kids club. The hotel is therefore dedicated to couples but also to families. It attracts, above all, a European clientele. For honeymooners: special newlywed rate, spa treatment for two people and candelit dinner offered for any stay with a 5-night minimum.
Underwater diving:
The coral reef is located 426 feet away. Approximately 30 diving sites are accessible, between 20 and 30 minutes away. Night dives are organised. The sites are known for their manta rays, sharks and barracudas.

The island of Reethi Rah enchants you at once with its original shape and the lagoon which surrounds it. The largest island of Maldives (109 acres) houses an impressive hotel that captivates you as soon as you arrive at the reception area, lined with sculpted wood columns. The hotel offers a refined design, in the Balinese style. Opened in 2005, this latest addition to One & Only amazes by its impressive number of facilities. Indeed, the hotel holds the capability to respond to your many needs and desires. Physical activity, rest or relaxation, savouring delicious courses, excursions, lively parties, the discovery of sumptuous submarine beds? you will be fulfilled. Nothing will be lacking. A 14,000 square feet spa in a decor of greenery will offer you an exclusive array of the E'SPA brand utilizing techniques from all over the world: hammams with amethyst crystals, Finnish saunas, hydromassage of the shoulders, ice fountains, Thai massage, aromatherapy... An infinity pool where the water mixes with this of the ocean, a fitness room, tennis courts, ping pong tables, a water sports centre with lots of equipment, a kids club for children aged from 2 to 11, baby-sitting service available 24/7, a library, yoga classes... And of course, internet access, and even Photoshop so you can already see and edit your masterpieces... You can already tell that you will spend delightful holidays. To get around the island, guests have a bicycle and can call for a buggy. Every suite has a buggy at its disposal.

The hotel has 130 exceptional villas. Spacious and elegant, they are decorated in a Balinese-inspired contemporary style. Natural materials are used, such as tropical wood or thatch. All of the rooms have plasma screen televisions, DVD players, individual air conditioning, safe and mini-bar. They all have a beach or private terrace, deckchairs and direct access to the lagoon. Sixty-three 1,451 square feet beach villas have a shaded veranda overlooking the sea, thirty 1,774 square feet beach villas have a private pool, an exterior shower, a veranda and a large wooden terrace, and thirty 1,602 square feet ocean villas are on piers.

The One & Only Reethi Rah has three restaurants. The Reethi Restaurant is the main restaurant (3 meals) perched above the water, with large, impressive wooden doors worthy of a palace. It offers a cuisine marrying Asian and Mediterranean flavours. The menu is revised every two months, and is light at noon, and more studied in the evening. All of the dishes are delicious, including the pastries created by a very conscientious chef. At the Reethi Restaurant, you can see all of the chefs preparing fruit juice and other dishes... Open at night, the Tapasake, also on piers, invites you to savour Japanese and Indian specialties while admiring the sunset. The Fandhita, a restaurant right in the sand, offers a wide variety of salads and grilled meats at night in an Arabic atmosphere: on the menu are couscous, tajines, and in particular, delicious Lebanese specialties... And with good reason... the chef is Lebanese. You can have a drink on one of the wooden coffee tables, and then, you come to the table for dinner in an intimate and secluded place... Every Saturday night a party is thrown; you can dance there in an enthusiastic atmosphere. Unforgettable moments. The hotel also offers a snack bar and two bars that provide service close to perfection.

The hotel's beach is man made but looks fairly decent. The sand does not have the same fine quality one would expect of the Maldives but it does the trick! The water is translucent. Palm trees put the finishing touches on a paradisiacal decor. Each villa has its own deckchairs and a table. The very comprehensive water sports base offers free windsurfing, canoeing, pedalo and beach volleyball. For a fee: waterskiing, banana boat, catamaran and scuba diving.
