7.25/10
Located in a wonderful brick building from the 20s, the Park Central offers its guests a setting with fancy new facilities, due to renovation which began in 1999. It has 935 rooms of excellent standing, a large lobby with a refined decoration (checkerboard tile floor, carpets, woodwork), a large café and a fitness room. The greeting is pleasant and professional, the state of the installation is impeccable, the cleanliness is perfect. In short, a beautiful facility with an appearance more of a 4* than a 3* establishment.
7.5/10
The rooms approach a 4* quality. The decoration is sober but fancy : light walls, thick carpet, cherry-wood furniture, desk with comfortable armchair, and a dressing room. With 25 m² on the average, well sound-proofed, they all have television (many channels and Nintendo), individual air conditioning, a safe, and a double telephone line with answering machine. The bathrooms are large, except for a few of them, with black marble sinks, bathtubs and hairdryers. On the other hand, standard rooms do not have a minibar, and the room-service is only operational during the day.
6.75/10
The Café New York, located to the right of the entrance, is small for a hotel of this size. The environment is warm and friendly. Open at 6:30 am, you will be able to have classic American cuisine for lunch and dinner. To quench your thirst, a nice lobby lounge with neoclassical decoration welcomes clients and visitors, from 5pm to midnight.
