The Riad Yasmine, which opened its doors in 2002, was built by two architects, one of which is from the Medina. It was designed on the basis of ancient plans. Consisting of one floor, it structured around a main patio. The decoration is fancy. The tiles come from Fez and everything is carved by hand. The riad has a swimming pool of 107 ft, which is very pleasant for a cool-off. It also has a panoramic terrace with a view of the Atlas range in the Koutoubia, offering the sight of the Medina that is full of life. A Moorish café and deck chairs are installed, as well as a bar.

Five rooms and three suites, that are pleasant and beautifully decorated in tadelakt and zelliges, are of a variable size with an area between 215 and 322 ft². The rooms have a sitting area that is always decorated with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The bathrooms' doors are made from wood and finely painted by hand. The rooms are equipped with a television and air-conditioning. No mini-bar available, nor telephone. The bathrooms have a bathtub or a shower, a separate toilet, and welcome products. Room-service is available to guests 24 hours a day.

"Here, customers eat wherever they want; around the swimming pool or on the covered terrace," expressed Michel. In the morning, delicious Moroccan pancakes and a cake, homemade by Hanan's aunt, are carefully prepared. At lunchtime, sandwiches, salads or other light dishes are offered. Every evening, a specially Moroccan menu is offered, but guests can also ask for Western dishes if they wish. The menu includes two hors d'oeuvre, a main dish, a dessert, mint tea and cakes. The cuisine is directed by Hajiba, Hanan's mother, a former chef at the Palais Royal in Rabah. "Customers say it is the best couscous in Morocco," smiled Michel.
