The San Antonio is recommended for families : 60 rooms can house 3 persons and 10 rooms are adjoining.
Another asset of this hotel : the covered facilities ( swimming pool, fitness room, wellness centre ) for a sport and relaxation stay in any season.

A 9-storey white tower overlooking the Saint Paul islands offshore from the bay : that is the building that houses the San Antonio. The rather spacious lobby is extended by a cafe/snack bar alongside. The local decoration ( fresco sculpted in limestone from the island, local artists' paintings ) makes it a bit more personal. Outside, a 30 x 12 m lagoon pool occupies the centre of the terrace-solarium where music is played during the day. All around there are deckchairs set up in rows : perfect to meet other people, less so to have a nap in peace. We prefer the indoor relaxation areas, in particular a 15 x 5 m swimming pool with jacuzzi.

Of the hotel's 295 rooms, 60% are facing the pool and have a partial bay view. The others open on the city behind the building. All the rooms have a balcony but it is is sometimes just a tiny space with not even enough room for a table and chairs like you would expect there. The contemporary style furniture is simple and plain. Framed artwork, lit up by a wall lamp, show watercolours of Maltese countrysides. Direct telephone line, air conditioning and fan, mini-bar and safe are also provided. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a hair dryer and a basket of welcome products.

The buffet restaurant, open for all three meals, is made up of a large dining room and a terrace located by the swimming pool. Unfortunately, the available space does not make it possible to set tables at decent intervals. The dining room looks like a mess hall that buzzes when there are a lot of people. Although the atmosphere is not the best, you make up for it with the generous and varied food. In the morning, crepes are cooked on request in addition to the selection of hot and cold dishes ( scrambled eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheese, bread rolls, croissants and fresh fruits ). For lunch and dinner, two show-cooking stands offer pasta and grillings as well as a varied theme buffet ( Maltese, Italian, Asian or international ). An à la carte restaurant with pizza and seafood and a snack bar complete the catering options.
