The Tikida Dunas hotel offers an all inclusive formula. The international entertainment team is composed of 17 people. The hotel's guests are nearly 65% French speaking. Shows are held 7 days a week in a beautiful room, well set-up for such performances. The "baby" club (0 to 2 years, must be accompanied by parents) is open from Easter until the end of the summer holidays. A free shuttle service is available to get to the Soleil gof course. A 10% discount on green fees is available to customers of Riu.

The Tikida Dunas consists of one main building and 4 units with 2 floors, distributed in a 12-acre park. Built in December 2002, it has all of the modern amenities and many activities are offered. You can swim all year round and in all weather because the many swimming pools, both heated and not heated, indoor and outdoor, are available. Lawn, cactus, flowers and small bridges decorate the vast space around the swimming pools. Nearby, the club for children located on the lawn (with a sandpit) is divided into 3 age groups: babies up to 2 years old, "mini" between 3 and 6 years, and "maxi" between 7 and 12 years. Holidaymakers at the Tikida Dunas can enjoy the hotel's fitness centre or even go to the thalassotherapy centre of the Tikida Beach (at an extra cost). The disco at the Tikida Beach is also available for free.

Well arranged and very spacious (430 ft²), all 406 rooms have a balcony or a terrace with a garden. 4 rooms are equipped for disabled guests and the main building has 6 suites. Decorated in a modern, Moroccan style with vibrant colours (blue and ochre), the rooms are equipped with a television broadcasting 24 channels, a telephone, air conditioning, a safe used for free, a mini fridge and closets. You can choose a room with a sea view for an additional fee. The bathroom and the toilets (with a bidet) are separate. Bath tub, welcome products and hair dryer are all available in the bathrooms.

The main restaurant serves breakfast (from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) and dinner (from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) in the style of an international, varied and tasty buffet. In the evening, you can also try the pleasant Moroccan restaurant, but you need to make a reservation. Lunch is served in another buffet room and at the snack bar, as well as continental breakfast for those who like a good meal in the morning (from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.). In the evening, the latter turns into a restaurant grill. It is possible also to eat outdoors.

The construction of the promenade on Palmiers Bay has caused major construction work in front of the spacious and beautiful beach of Riu Tikida Dunas located on the seafront between the Tikida Beach and the Iberostar. During our visit in February 2008, half of the space along the Agadir beach was under construction, but access to the sea was still easy on the other section. Good to know: trucks and other vehicles work non-stop from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In all likelihood, the promenade should be finished by June 2008. Normally, customers at the Tikida Dunas can use deck chairs and umbrellas enjoy the beutiful space, washed down by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Here as elsewhere on the bay, almost at zero sea level, the sand is fine, golden and regularly cleaned by the city authorities. Watch out, it is often windy in the evening. The hotel does not have equipment for water sports. You will need to speak to private hirers.
