Review: Tivoli Hotel
The Tivoli is good for guests seeking tranquillity. It allows you to combine relaxation with some sports activities such as tennis. The entertainment is minimal, but you don't come here for that. The welcome, however, is very warm.
Advantages
- The view from some of the rooms
- The reception
- The hotel has many flowers and lots of greenery
Disadvantages

From now until the end of May 2005, there is construction work taking place on the swimming pool every night (from 8 p.m. until midnight). Therefore you won't find much serenity in the evenings. The Tivoli is aimed at guests looking for relaxation. Situated on a hill and away from the coast, it offers a magnificent view of Agadir and the sea. ? little far from Agadir, it is nevertheless placed right next to a shopping arcade that offers the essential amenities.

Built in 1995, the Tivoli has 280 rooms, including 24 suites, in 4 buildings of three storeys. Between them, you get a view of the sea. The rectangular swimming pool and the sun lounge are where the hotel's guests spend the most time. Here you will find a sufficient amount of parasols and deck chairs. The reception is warm.

By September 2005, all of the rooms will have been renovated. The carpet will be replaced with white tiles. For the moment, the rooms on the ground floor are inaccessible due to plumbing works. The rooms offer a view of the sea or the swimming pool. They are large and decorated in vibrant colours. They have a small balcony. They each have a satellite TV, adjustable air-conditioning, a mini-bar and telephone line via the switchboard. The bathrooms are not very pleasant (mould) and not very spacious. Each is equipped with a bathtub.

You can dine at two restaurants. The international restaurant offers varied and well garnished buffets. If you wish to, you can choose your meal yourself. The Moroccan restaurant offers am interesting menu of traditional dishes. The snack bar by the swimming pool can accommodate a large capacity and allows you to eat something quickly at all times of the day.

The hotel is not situated on the seafront. You have to walk some 1640 ft to reach the beach. Speak to private rentals to get some deck-chairs, mattresses, and umbrellas (preferential rates for the hotel's guests). The same goes for watersports equipment. The beach of Agadir is 4 miles long and 330 ft wide. There is a lot of space. But the water is rough because of the waves that crash onto the sand.
