The Tropicana is located on the road to Casablanca, at the northern entrance to Marrakesh, in a quiet neighbourhood. It is located only 2 miles from Jemaa El Fna Square and 7 miles from the airport (it takes only 15 minutes for the transfer).

As for recreational activities, the animation team of 4 people, led by the friendly Chawki, will offer you, all year round, a varied programme of aquagym, stretching, water polo, volleyball, oriental dance classes, cooking classes, courses in Arabic language, camel back riding (paid)... During the holiday they also organise a Tuareg workshop for pottery making or a workshop for making Berber necklaces. A lady entertainer welcomes children aged from 3 to 6 years in the mini-club during school holidays. In the evening, games are offered, as well as Moroccan show dinners. They are held on Tuesday and Friday, with artists from Jemaa El Fna Square, who show their talents (for example, snake charmer) in the restaurant or on the terrace during summer. On Thursday, ? dancing show is organised. A karaoke piano bar is open every evening from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. as well as a discotheque "The Cotton Club".

The Tropicana was built in 1985 and completely renovated in 2003. It is built according to a pyramidal architecture with two wings in "L" shape, which surround the garden. You can swim in a pool of 2,690 ft², a part of which is reserved for children or you can also sunbathe on the lawn. The rooms are spread over four levels with a lift and are arranged around two patios abounding in flowers. The interior decoration mixes up modern and Moorish styles. The hotel has a very pleasant beauty saloon with very kind staff who will make you discover the pleasures and benefits of oriental relaxation: hammam, clay masks, seaweed bath, body care, massages in a warm, subdued and neat setting. The Tropicana also has a hairdresser saloon with very friendly hairdressers. A fitness room is also available to customers.

The hotel's 141 rooms and 4 suites are beautifully decorated combining modern and Moorish styles. They all have a balcony, air conditioning and are equipped with a double bed, television satellite with 8 channels, telephone with a direct line for international calls, a safe. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a toilet. It is possible to place an additional bed for a 3rd child. There is no room service.

The club's restaurant has a terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style. The cuisine is varied, both Moroccan and international. Several times a week, thematic buffets are offered during special evening parties, as the Moroccan evening, which takes place on Tuesday and Friday, with a folk show. For lunch, you can receive a service at the table or eat at the snack grill by the pool, open from noon to 5 p.m.
