Review: Tryp Cayo Coco Hotel
An amazing surface area and a record number of rooms, the Tryp Cayo Coco is one of the largest complexes in the archipelago, and maybe even in Cuba. A town on an island. On this paradise deserted by the Cubans only hqbited tourists, autarky rules. It is difficult to get away from it. People who like "all inclusive" will like this. Otherwise it's not for you.
Advantages
- A paradise beach
- Luxurious amenities, more than an hours drive from the nearest town
- Natural surroundings
Disadvantages
- Its definitely a hotel industry: in total, the hotel has 1000 bedrooms. Enjoy!

With its 1 000 bedrooms, its 2 000 beds, its 11 bars and nine restaurants, the Tryp Cayo Coco is the largest hotel in Cayo Coco. Here you are completely self sufficient. Anyway, the only things that surround the hotel are pink flamingos (even in the hotel's gardens!). This sheet only describes the club part of the hotel.

Built in ' 96, the hotel is more like a town: 35 buildings spread over an 27 acre tropical garden. It takes some time to get from one block to the other... The swimming pools, lobby and restaurants are also amazing sizes. Outside: Neat and tidy Outside: well looked after decoration Nothing to add except that it definitely lacks charm.

All the rooms are in two or three story houses. They have beautiful rattan furniture with tapestries on the walls. They are spacious and cosy. A mosquito net has pride of place on the ceiling. Very comfortable: air conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito net, satellite TV, direct telephone for international calls, bathroom with bath. Some have a view of the sea, while the others overlook the garden.

The all inclusive formula means that you can make the most of the hotel's nine restaurants. Buffet, à la carte, and grill on the beach, just by the sea. International, Cuban and Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent sea food is also served. It's not worth looking for privacy as the atmosphere here is rather noisy.

The beach is paradise. A small band of sand lined with palm tress and infinite expanses of grass. Difficult to get better but peak hours should be avoided.
