Climate Faroe Islands

The Faroe Islands have a maritime climate. Expect a mixture of rain and sunny intervals all in the same day. In winter, temperatures hover around 3°C and rarely exceed 11°C in summer. In spring and autumn, the average temperature is around 8 °C. Be sure to bring warm and waterproof clothes, even in July and August, because the weather is unpredictable. The best season for tourism is between June and September, the warmest months.
