In Thorshavn, visit the Listaskalin museum that presents a permanent exhibition of Faroese art. Very nice painting collections must be seen, along with punctual exhibitions on contemporary artists. Do not miss the Northern House which is a cultural centre dedicated to the whole of Scandinavia. Concerts and shows take place regularly and a room is dedicated to temporary painting exhibitions.
