Situated south of Streymoy, Thorshavn is home to 16,000 inhabitants. The Faroese Capital city (the smallest in the world!) is a very colourful town. Walk along the port filled with a myriad of fishing boats, then go and see the touristy neighbourhood: it is set up around a maze of streets and steps, bordered by typical houses, with red and black facades.
