ski charges on planes

Are skis  • in their own bag •  included in your airfare with BA as long as the total weight is within your normal limit? ie 2 bags but one total weight

    Hi there John. Yes, BA accepts ski and snowboard equipment as part of your 23kg checked luggage allowance up to 190cm (75in) in length provided it is packed 'correctly' meaning that you should pack your skis and snowboards in a recognised ski or snowboard bag, pack your ski poles with your skis, pack your boots separately from your skis or snowboard ? either in a bag of their own or within another checked bag.
