'Le Train Jaune' - The Yellow Train

Also called the 'Canary' by those in the know, this 39-mi train ride linking Villefranche-de-Conflent and Latour-de-Carol to the south of Font-Romeu takes in 21 stations (including 9 regular stops) and lasts about 2 hours.
The track winds its way around the base of the Canigou mountain range, over craggy slopes and across the Séjourné viaduct and Giscard bridge. It is a bucolic journey, sometimes breathtaking, and always memorable.
Perpignan is only 50 mi away!
