Costumes, 250 kitchen utensils, and 200 fishing and navigation instruments enable you to immerge yourself in the history and culture of the Côtes-d'Armor. The two wings of the museum have been installed since 1886 in the former gendarmerie of Saint-Brieuc.
The first wing houses the permanent exhibitions which present the traditional popular arts and the history of the department by relying on everyday objects, scale models of boats, and scenes from daily life. The second wing is dedicated to temporary exhibitions, conferences, concerts and activities for children.
