The Lozère is a high altitude region with no exterioe source that irrigates the basins of the Garonne, the Loire, and the Rhone.
Regardless of your level, all sorts of water sports are available to you on the many rivers (the Chassezac, the Tarn, the Lot, and the Allier all run through the Lozère), lakes, rapids, or impressive waterfalls the region has to offer.
Whatever your preference, be it a slow drift down a calm river, or a high-adrenaline, white-knuckle ride down raging rapids, all you have to do is grab your paddle, life jacket and fins, and hop in!
