To explore the bay in a way that is as playful as it is ecological, there's nothing like a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
Ideal for groups or families, these rides, commentated by Jean-Yves, leave Boucey and follow the swamps of the Couesnon's low valley before crossing the old district of Pontorson and passing in front of its 12th century church.
The ride continues along Route des Moulins, which overhangs Couesnon Valley, before arriving at the polders and grassy fields where salt-meadow sheep graze. The return trip passes by the Couesnon ruins.
During this excursion, the guide describes the restoration project of the Maritime Character of Mont-Saint-Michel and presents the work which is in process.
