Created by Alexandre Brongniart in the 19th century, the museum traces the history and development of the ceramic technique in Europe, with collections of glazed pottery, maiolica, earthenware and porcelain, as well as a collection of Islamic ceramics, Hispano-Moorish earthenware and Japanese ceramics.
