As the only medieval religious building that survived the ravages of the Wars of Religion, Saint Pierre Cathedral uniqueness is striking.
Built in the extension to the faculty of medecine, this veritable fortress in the Meridional style has an impressive porch flanked by two imposing stacks with pointed hats reminiscent of the two austere towers above the chancel and nave.
The interior revolves around the majestic nave and a magnificent organ case, as well as a superb 17th Century altarpiece in the right-hand transept.
