In 1969, the Armorique Regional Nature Park was notably created to enable the preservation of this region, made unique by its natural heritage. The Arree Mounts are a succession of gently curving hills and crests spiked with rock peaks, creating the impression of high mountains. The sight is stunning with wonderful panoramas where the verdant hedged farmland gives way to the aridity of the land. This is also a mythical place, as numerous legends are conveyed on the Arree Mounts and, after having heard them, you will perhaps be brave enough to stay the night and bump into the famous korrigans (goblins) that live there.
