The coast of Britanny has around ten islands, all different from one another in terms of their landscape, habitats, fauna and flora, weather and legends.
The one thing that they all have in common is nature. These islands are, first and foremost, natural preservation sites where the car is very often banned (Ouessant and Sein).
There are the Morbihan Islands: Hoëdic, Houat, Belle-île, Groix, the Gulf and the Glénan Islands; there are the Finistère Islands:
Sein, Molène, Ouessant and Batz; and there are the islands of the Côtes d'Armor:
Bréhat and the Seven Islands.
Ornithologists can indulge their passion on Molène Island, part of the Ouessant Islands, which has been declared a 'Biological Reserve and Biosphere Reserve of the Iroise Sea'.
