Bora Bora - The motus

Bora Bora - The motus Bora Bora - The motus The Pearl of the Pacific owes its reputation notably to its coral reef, which is clearly visible above the sea. Ralph Braumer / age fotostock;

Bora Bora is the "Pearl of the Pacific" and is rich in Polynesian myth. Surrounded by a vast coral ring, its lagoon is considered the most beautiful in the world. Many motus (islets) are scattered along the barrier-reef, lined with coconut trees and white sandy beaches. Motu Tapu is an absolute must-see, guarding the entrance of the Teavani pass, do not miss Motu Tane either which once belonged to Paul-Emile Victor. The epitome of paradise, Bora Bora can be visited in half a day, driving along the ring road (20 miles).
