On Ua Pu, the volcanic points and peaks provide some of the archipelago's most spectacular sceneries. A mud track allows vehicles to drive all the way around the island. A 4x4 tour, on the east coast, will take you to Hohoi Bay and its pebble and black sand beach. With Hakahau as a departure point, you should definitely go on a boat ride, along the unspoilt coast, where cliffs and sea caves jut out into the sea.
