Banjul

Banjul is located on the estuary of Gambia River. It is a very small town, which reminds you more of a village than a country's Capital city. The vital heart of Banjul is Albert market. Visiting the market will be a pleasant time, in the middle of clothes, shoes, artwork, fruits and vegetables. The National Museum of Gambia is interesting for its photos, cards and texts concerning archaeology, African ethnic groups and the colonial period. From Arch 22, the country's highest building (114 ft high), you will have an excellent viewpoint of the coasts and the city.
