Sub-tropical climate with distinct seasons. A long dry season, from November to May, followed by a short rain season, from June to October. The month of August receives the most rain. Temperatures vary between 24°C (from December to February) and 30°C (from June to September). The best season to visit the country expands from November to March, even if the Harmattan, a hot wind coming from the Sahara desert, blows during this season.
