In the east, the mountainous area has a rough climate, while the west enjoys a humid sub-tropical climate thanks to the Black Sea. Avoid the months from December to February, during which the temperature is freezing. It is preferable to stay in Georgia between April and October (1°C in January and 25 °C in July, in Tbilissi). The evenings are generally cool so you should bring warm clothes.
