Mole National Park © Ariel Fuchs
For a country where people used to practise large scale hunting, various species have still survived here : hyenas, leopards, makis, elephants, warthogs, antelopes and monkeys. The Mole National Park is the best maintained natural reserve in Ghana. You can visit it by foot or by four-wheel drive, but in all cases, be accompanied by a guide. The current animals are antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, monkeys, and more scarcely, lions and elephants, that have been introduced to the region. Accommodation and restauration are insured by the motel located at the park entrance.
