The city of Gibraltar is organised around Main Street, the town's biggest avenue. Go and see the Cathedral of Saint Mary the Crowned. Then visit King's Chapel, situated next to an old Franciscan convent, today the governor's residency. Continue in direction of Southport Gate, where you will find the Trafalgar Cemetery. It shelters British sailors' graves, killed in 1805, during the Battle of Trafalgar. If you continue along Europa Road, you will reach the Alameda Botanical Gardens. Walk through the gardens to reach Nelson's Anchorage site, this is where you will find one of the biggest cannons of Gibraltar. It is from the Victorian era and weighs 100 tons, dominating Rosia Bay.
