The Gibraltar Museum, located on Bomb House Lane, retraces the Rock's history since prehistoric times; archaeological digs have shown that the territory was occupied 50,000 years ago. At first, the Phoenicians and Greeks settled here, and then the Almohads. The exhibitions cover these different time periods and also present an amazing model of Gibraltar, made in the mid 19th century by British officers.
