A vast territory, Greenland has strong climatic variations with sometimes quick sky and temperature changes. The climate is Artic (cold and dry). In the North, the climate is rough (- 35°C in January and - 4°C in July). Generally, fjords in the southeast and the area around Disko Bay get hotter temperatures, thanks to the Gulf Stream (- 6°C in January and 7°C in July). However, due to the lack of humidity, temperatures feel hotter. The summer (from July to beginning of September) is the best time to visit Greenland, but ski and sleigh lovers will prefer spring time.
