With an important number of major glaciers coming to die in the Atlantic Ocean, Greenland is obviously the first iceberg provider of the northern hemisphere. These icebergs detatch from the coast to live their own life in an environment only subject to sea currents, which sometimes makes them go down fairly low into the northern Atlantic Ocean. It is in fact one of these icebergs that caused the Titanic catastrophe.
