Grenada's ecosystem, benefiting from trade winds from December to April, is very diverse: humid tropical forest is followed by luxurious wood and vegetation, depending on the climate and relief. Pine trees, poinciana, palm trees and tropical flowers such as orchids all make up this luxurious vegetation. Carriacou Island, with a drier climate, is more a land where cactuses, acacias, and bougainvillea grow.
