Mountains © D.R.
Grenada island disposes of a mountainous relief of volcanic origin, with a peak rising 2755 ft, the Saint-Catherine mount, an extinct volcano. These small mountains are dug by deep valleys where rivers and waterfalls descend. Craters of old volcanoes became lakes like the Grand Etang, in the centre of the country. Around this water expanse, you will find the National park of the same name.
