Located between the Pointe du Cimetière and the Pointe à Congre, the West Beach is ideal for swimming. It stretches over 4 miles and houses the Cohoba Hotel, the only top quality hotel complex in the island. The less busy sea and lack of coral reef makes this site ideal for surfing. It is also on this beach, in Saint-Louis, that the island's only diving centre can be found.
