Extremely wild and humid, it is worth stopping in the Rio Dulce region, if only for the trip on the river to go and visit the ecomuseum, Chochon Machacas, where you can see a variety animal and tree species. You can also reach the town of Livingston on the Caribbean coast; this village is only accessible by lanchas, local motorboats.
