Guinean people essentially eat rice, cassava root, corn, and yam. In the streets, brochettes, grilled fish, peanuts and cakes are sold. Among the country's specialties, you can taste the jollof rice, served with peanut stuffed chicken, couscous served with milk, slimy taro root or with plantain bananas. Dishes are generally served with spiced or plain rice.
