Mount Nimba

Mount Nimba (5,750 feet high), the highest point in West Africa, features on the UNESCO World Heritage list. An endemic fauna, diverse and unique, is one of the charms of the heights (and in particular the vivparous toad and the chimpanzee at Bossou, the closest human relative).
