Hi-tech: Apple world travel adapter kit

According to Globetrotters magazine, the new travel kit from Apple really does make life easier - ensuring you stay connected even when travelling to all four corners of the world!

The travel kit includes a USB power adaptor, USB Cable and six interchangeable AC adapter plugs for use with iPod, iPhone, and iPad. These six adapters can also be used with Apple MacSafe Power Adapters (which connect to MacBooks and MacBook Pros), Portable Power Adaptors (which connect to iBooks and PowerBooks), and WiFi extender Apple Airport Express.

You can now charge your Apple products anywhere in Continental Europe, North America, Japan, China, the UK, Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia - without having to buy a new adaptor when you travel to each of these countries. Moreover, the travel kit is only £6 more expensive than buying the simple iPad charger, making it a much better investment. However, with so many cables and adaptors, it would be nice if Apple also provided a travel bag within the kit to avoid those tangled disasters in your suitcase.

The only problem: the travel adaptor kit only works with Apple products…
