It is rarely cold in Hong Kong, as it is located in a sub-tropical zone, though the temperature can drop below 10°C during rough winters. Summer is hot (the thermometer can go up to a maximum of 35°C) and above all very humid, with frequent rainfall that reminds you of monsoon, which makes the season pretty unpleasant. In spring or autumn, the temperatures are much more pleasant.(22°C in April, 25°C in October). The best times to visit the territory are the intermediary seasons, from October to December, and from March to May. During these times, the sky is normally clear, the humidity is (relatively) low, and the temperatures are pleasant.
