Hotel Dolce Vita

It will take 10 minutes to get to the hotel from Ajaccio town centre. The hotel is located on the Sanguinaires route, on the sea side. The Eden Roc, Calanques and Stella di Mare are the neighbouring hotels.

The Dolce Vita is friendlier and more charming than its neighbour the Eden Roc, also 4*. It has the advantage of having direct access to a little beach. But like the Eden Roc, it offers good cuisine.

Built in 1963, the hotel doesn't look its age. Several renovations have updated this two storey, pink walled building stuck between road and sea. The hotel has a certain style. The windows' moucharabieh give it a slightly Moorish appearance. Beige and brown tiling on the floor, a tidy lawn in the garden with bushes of hydrangea. In the corner, a small swimming pool with diving board. Inside, it is very stylish. The objects have been carefully selected like this giant tortoise or this bust of Napoleon. You will be welcomed with a smile, but nothing special.

The bedrooms are large and elegant, with tasteful, old style furniture. They all have a sea view. There is a cosy atmosphere. Of course there are all the amenities of 4* hotel: bathtub, hair dryer, terrestrial TV, safe, individual air conditioning, mini-bar, direct telephone. Room service is open until midnight. Very clean.

The Dolce Vita restaurant serves mainly fish and sea food dishes, like most of the restaurants in the region. Difficult to overlook it. The cuisine is of very good quality.

A small beach near the rocks is located right at the foot of the hotel. Just for... There isn't enough place for everyone. But it's better than nothing. There is a more spacious beach 5 minutes away.
