Hotel Alisios

Alisios is 10 minutes downtown Albufeira and 19 miles away from Faro International airport.

Alisios was partly renovated in 2005. You will certainly be welcomed by the friendly owner who likes to tell you about decorative items in the hotel that are gifts from regular clients. The institution, although well maintained, is a little old. It has 112 rooms (accomodations for 250) which you can access by two elevators. Inside, a 15 meter long swimming pool with 30°C sea water - outside, a large seafront terrace with several deckchairs,a bar but no pool.

Small rooms are simply decorated. Nevertheless, they are well maintained and have a sea view or a view of the tennis court. They each have individual airconditioning, a safe (for an extra charge), direct telephone to the international, a full minibar (on request), satellite television, a balcony with a table and two plastic chairs and a bathroom with blue and white tiled walls that has a bathtub and hair dryer. The restaurant serves buffet-style breakfasts and a la carte dinners. During summer, you can eat on the terrace. Once a week a Portugueuse buffet or a barbecue is organized. In summer, the outside bar serves drinks and snacks.
In winter, the indoor Hibiscus bar open its doors.

Access to  a small stairway leads directly from the hotel terrace to the pretty Albufeira beach. The beach has a fine setting and sand that is cleaned regularly. You can rent deckchairs and parasols.
