This Ibis is simple, clean, modern, functional and has the advantage of being a few minutes away from the city centre and the station. It is cost-effective in a city where hotel prices are indecently high.Nothing to rave about but a simple place to sleep after a long day of walking and sightseeing.
Beside the station, the hotel is located 5 minutes away from the city centre. To get there, you only have to cross the boulevard which passes in front of the station.
?20 (£16) deposit is charged for the use of an iron, a kettle and a hair dryer.
On August 2008 the hotel will grow from 187 to 361 rooms when a new building will be built above the rails.
Fully non-smoking hotel.
This old concrete building houses a designer interior with a pink and apple green lobby and below ,a bar which is in the shape of a wooden boat. Originality was introduced in this very classical hotel chain.
The 187 rooms are small. Here simplicity is the rule. They are furnished with a large bed, a small wardrobe, a desk and of course a television, only the plastered pale rose wall brightens everything. Bathrooms are small and equipped with a shower, a washbasin and toilet, all in white and without originality.
In front of the reception, a few more steps down, a wooden bar shaped like a boat offers quite inexpensive snacks and pizzas. For breakfast, at the end of the bar area, a space with small tables and a large buffet has plenty to eat for ?13 (£10).
