This large brick edifice dating from the 17th and 19th centuries is impressive. Once you climb the stairs, you are welcomed into a stylish hall with black leather sofas and armchairs and a lounge bar.

111 small and simple rooms overlook the canal or the inner courtyard. They have a desk, a television, a closet and two large windows. Just like the rooms, the bathrooms are small. Beauty products will make you want to sprawl in the bathtub.

Continental breakfast is served in a large rooom which overlooks the canal. Bamboo growths are placed on tables to give a modern tone to the decor. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.30am during the week and for weekend late sleepers it is open until 11.00am. A very high class bar where people can imagine the presence of whisky drinkers and cigar smokers is open from 3.00pm to 11.00pm.
